Lungora's label specifies its turmeric ingredient as "Turmeric Rhizome Extract 95% Curcuminoids," not just "Turmeric." That distinction is worth understanding.
Raw turmeric powder, the kind used in cooking, contains only a small percentage of curcuminoids (the compounds behind most of turmeric's studied effects) by weight — typically around 2-5%. A "95% curcuminoids" extract has been processed to concentrate those specific compounds to a much higher percentage.
Most clinical research on turmeric's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects uses standardized curcumin extracts, not raw turmeric powder, because the concentration and consistency matter for reproducible results. A 95% curcuminoid standardization is a meaningfully potent extract, at least in terms of concentration.
Standardization tells you about concentration, not the total amount in your capsule. Since Turmeric sits inside Lungora's 575mg undosed blend alongside five other ingredients, a highly concentrated extract could still end up as a small total contribution if the blend allocates most of its weight elsewhere — something the label doesn't let us determine either way.
